Why I’m Taking Part
I'm a serving Army Officer, with Operational tours of Afghanistan and Sierra Leone, and I am running the Marathon des Sables for Walking With The Wounded.
The Marathon des Sables is ranked by the Discovery Channel as the 'toughest footrace on earth', with competitors taking on six marathons in six days across the Sahara. I will be carrying everything I need on my back to survive 6 days in the desert.
