Why I’m Taking Part
I AM A 67 YEAR OLD FORMER ROYAL MARINE VETERAN.I HAVE WITNESSED THE SCARS AND PAIN OF MY FELLOW BROTHERS IN ARMS AT FIRST HAND THE LEAST I CAN DO IS TO SUPPORT OTHER VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES BY WAY OF TAKING ON THIS CHALLENGE.
IT IS KNOWN AS THE TOUGHEST ULTRA MARATHON FOOT RACE IN THE WORLD.
TO MAKE THE CHALLENGE MORE EXCITING I WILL BE DOING IT IN FULL MILITARY COMBATS AND MILITARY BOOTS. NEVER BEFORE AND UNHEARD OF,NOT ONLY IN MILITARY KIT CARRYING MY OWN SUPPLIES, FOOD, BEDDING AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES FOR 7 DAYS
