Why I’m Taking Part

In April, I’ll be taking on the Marathon des Sables (MDS) alongside Tom Guthrie, Joe Lush, and the rest of the Walking With The Wounded team.

MDS is a self-sufficient ultra-marathon covering 270km over six stages, where runners carry all their own supplies - except water!

It’s not every day you take on such a challenge, and we’re proud to be doing it in support of such an incredible cause. Walking With The Wounded helps those who’ve served in the Armed Forces to rebuild their lives, and we couldn’t think of a better charity to raise money for.

Our team, Band of Blisters, has set a fundraising target of £15,000, and any donations, big or small, are hugely appreciated.
