Why I’m Taking Part
As a Veteran myself (Ex RAF - don't laugh you Army Vet's), I want to give back and support fellow ex-military personnel and their families. It means a lot to me to be able to join the WWTW team for this iconic challenge.
The Marathon des Sables is legendary as the toughest ' ultra' race on earth and has been on my bucket list for a long time.
I am no stranger to physical and mental hardship, and I enjoy the challenge of training for something and finally completing it.
Having completed the SAS route march 'Long Drag' for Help 4 Heros; the 'Fan Dance'; Fred Whitton cycle sportive; and summited Mont Blanc, I know I can complete the MdS and would love to have your support in raising money for OUR Veterans. Thank you.
The 2026 event is also the perfect challenge for me to celebrate my 60th year on the planet too !

I support the work of WWTW, and think that the Marathon des Sables is a super challenge, making it ideal event to sponsor a participant. I am privileged to have a place on their team for the 2026 'Legendary' event.
