I spent 16 years serving in the RAF. They gave me some of the best memories of my life, friendships that last a lifetime and experiences I’ll never forget.

But I also saw that, for some, the hardest battle begins after the uniform comes off.

So, in 2027 I’m taking on the Marathon des Sables — six days across the Sahara, carrying everything I need on my back — to raise money for Walking With The Wounded.

Because those who served alongside us shouldn’t have to face their battles alone.
